Join us for a live virtual training designed to help you use Canva more strategically and effectively in your business.

In this interactive session, participants will learn how to create polished, professional materials—without starting from scratch. We’ll cover how to quickly design social media posts, newsletters, and membership action plans.

Attendees will also learn how to work within their existing Brand Kit so everything stays visually consistent, cohesive, and professional.

We’ll explore Canva’s powerful AI tools to help you work faster and smarter, including designing layouts from prompts, using Magic Write to refine ideas into clear copy, and editing and enhancing photos directly in Canva.

Participants will leave with practical skills they can apply immediately to save time, elevate visuals, and support real business goals.

About the Trainer
Alicia Hannon Douglas is a leader, trainer, and community advocate with a deep commitment to service, empowerment, and lifelong learning.

Professionally, Alicia spent more than a decade at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she wrote financial management policies and strengthened partnerships across federal agencies. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Global Emerging Markets from American University and a BBA in International Business from Howard University.

Alicia actively serves in leadership and training roles with Rotary International, including District Trainer for Rotary District 7620 and Facilitator for the Mid-Atlantic Rotary Leadership Institute. She is also a Past Club President and Foundation President of the Rockville Rotary Club.

Her passion for supporting leaders extends across numerous organizations focused on education, civic engagement, and community development. In her quiet moments, Alicia enjoys playing the flute and baking her signature pecan pies.
